The Demon Lord Liu Wu'an

Liu Wuan is a poor child with no parents, and only his grandfather to rely on.

But misfortune always finds the unfortunate. On the night of his tenth birthday, robbers break into their home. He loses his left hand while desperately trying to protect the bead on his wrist, and his grandfather is so distressed that he falls seriously ill.

With no other choice, Liu Wuan drops out of school to run his grandfather's copy shop. He also becomes friends with three close companions: Qi Sheng, Ximen Zuo Zuo, and He Wanke.

Five peaceful years pass. On the night of Liu Wuan's fifteenth birthday, an old man in a black robe walks into his shop and hands him a dark red bead. Isn't it the very bead his mother left him? Memories flood back. He reaches desperately for the old man, but can't touch him, and hears only the man's final words: "Swallow that bead before midnight!"

Determined to uncover the truth, Liu Wuan does as instructed. From that moment on, all sorts of incredible changes begin to take place in his body. A blood-red hand starts growing from the stump of his left arm.
