Showbiz: You Asked Me to Make a Movie, but I Made One About a Trillion-Dollar Fortune

The three-hundred-million-yuan mansion in The Grand Mansion Gate is your private home?

That billion-yuan island in Mission: Impossible is yours?

The cruise ship from Titanic is yours, too?

Yes, they're all mine!

Wait, Director Zhang, you're that rich, and you were still complaining about being broke?

I had no choice. I was so poor, I had to save on location fees by using my own house.

Oh, by poor, I mean short on cash! As for my assets, I'm only around the world's second-richest level.

After five years out of the limelight, Zhang Xuan went viral with a video of himself picking up water bottles. The national broadcaster backed him, and the whole internet was moved to tears by his tragic circumstances, wanting to donate money to help him out.

At his comeback premiere, he set the audience straight and left them dumbfounded.

Me bankrupt? Down and out? That's total nonsense.

Come on, over the past few years, I've been anxious and worried, but I've never actually suffered.

Hiding my assets? Not at all. We're just an ordinary family, with a house that's maybe a little on the big side.

I simply like investing. I'm not interested in money.

Netizens: What movie are you going to make next to show off your wealth?

Maybe Star Wars or The Three-Body Problem next.

Netizens: Are you moving your assets to outer space?
