Just You Wait, Heavenly Dao

The Three Realms' foremost God of War, Emperor Jiuyuan, possesses unmatched strength. The Heavenly Dao once manifested in person to fight him, but neither could overcome the other. This filled the Heavenly Dao with deep apprehension. Under its coercion and inducements, the emperors of the Eight Immortal Courts joined the Heavenly Dao in a plot to destroy Emperor Jiuyuan. Emperor Jiuyuan had fought across the lands on behalf of the once-declining Immortal Realm, unifying the Three Realms. Yet in the end, his imperial body shattered and his divine soul dissipated. Just before his soul vanished, Emperor Jiuyuan split off a wisp of it. Wrapped in a faint glimmer, it escaped into the void. The glimmer was so strange that no one present noticed it, not the Eight Immortal Emperors of the Immortal Realm, nor even the Heavenly Dao's manifestation.

Heavenly Dao, if I do not perish today, I will surely behead you one day.
