Defending the Nation: My Garden Connects to the Pacific Ocean

Ye Qing owns Villa No. 9 on Feilong Mountain. Its backyard is a miniature version of the Pacific Ocean!

The day Japan began dumping nuclear wastewater into the sea, Ye Qing tossed a pebble at Longworm Fake Island. Thousands of miles away, Japan's capital, Tokyo, was struck by a meteorite from outer space.

Ye Qing jumped into the small lake in his backyard, and the western Pacific was suddenly rocked by constant earthquakes. Tsunamis rose in hundred-foot waves and swallowed Japan's Fukushima.

Only afterward did Ye Qing realize: "Did I throw that rock? Did I cause the earthquake by stomping? Did I pry open Mount Fuji's volcano? Did I dig up Japan's gold mine?"

Once Ye Qing understood what was going on, he took a deep breath and blew hard. "Typhoon Wowo, you're not welcome in Binzhou. Go visit South Korea and Japan instead!"

"There's a huge fire in Hawaii? No problem, I'll send hail to you Americans!"

"Coconut Country, you invited American troops to station there? What are you going to do now that your naval port has sunk?"

"Kangaroo Country, your weather is dry? Fine, you'll be eating chili-flavored air every day!"
