The Man Who Controls Other People's Will

After being bullied for more than twenty years, Duanmu Yu one day brought a knife to his workplace, intending to slaughter everyone there. Just as he was about to draw the blade, he suddenly discovered that he had gained the superpower to control other people's thoughts.

He used this power to take revenge on his bosses and colleagues. Then he made a list of everyone who had ever bullied him and went after them one by one. His revenge on Cheng Xin, a high school classmate he had once had a crush on, was especially excessive.

But Duanmu Yu didn't stop there. He used his power to gain the authority, women, wealth, and gambling thrills he had never enjoyed before, and treated no one as his equal. In just a few short years, he amassed a huge fortune and began living a decadent life of luxury.

But then he discovered that his power didn't work on certain people. As a result, he was sentenced to life in prison and sent behind bars. There, he suddenly came to his senses and resolved to turn over a new leaf.

But just then, Chen Ying, the good man who had sent him to prison, was unexpectedly murdered. Duanmu Yu thus began his life anew, and the story begins...

How will he use the superpower he has regained to live out his life?
