Great Ming: Old Zhu, How About Letting Me Be Emperor?

"A royal title?"

"A royal title means certain death."

"Then why don't you just kill me right now!"

Zhu Song transmigrates to the Ming dynasty and becomes Zhu Yuanzhang's twentieth son, Prince of Han.

With Zhu Yuanzhang seemingly near death and Zhu Yunwen about to launch a massive campaign to strip the princes of their power, Zhu Song, who has neither authority nor influence, openly defies the old emperor in the palace hall.

In a fit of rage, Zhu Yuanzhang confines Zhu Song in a desolate area outside the capital, leaving him to fend for himself.

"Your Majesty, Prince Han has obtained a mountain of bread. It could feed people for hundreds of years!"

"Your Majesty, Prince Han has obtained a city that can withstand an army of a hundred thousand!"

"Your Majesty, Prince Han has obtained a giant cannon that can blast a mountain flat with a single shot!"

"Your Majesty, Prince Han asks whether you'll mind if he becomes emperor after you die tomorrow..."

Zhu Yuanzhang: "Song'er, what do you think of the Ming dynasty I've governed? Would you call it a golden age?"

Zhu Song: "Golden age, my ass..."

Zhu Yuanzhang: "...You unfilial brat! If you can do better, then you do it!"

Many years later

Zhu Song gazes at the Ming dynasty he built with his own hands.

"What the hell? Isn't this the diorama I built myself? Did I modernize the Ming dynasty inside the box?"
