A Screenwriter Born in the 2000s: One Book About Living, and I Make the Whole Internet Cry!

The film and television industry keeps churning out terrible movies, while a good script is impossible to find. To change this, a TV station creates a program called China's Best Script.

One screenwriter each from the post-60s, post-80s, and post-00s generations is selected. They get a prompt and write on the spot!

Su Yang transmigrates into this world and becomes a post-00s screenwriter.

The first episode's writing prompt: rural life!

The post-60s screenwriter focuses on the times and boundless love; the post-80s screenwriter writes about entrepreneurship and escaping poverty.

While the other screenwriters are writing heartwarming dramas, Su Yang calmly writes two words: To Live!

The protagonist's father? Dies of anger!

The protagonist's mother? Dies of illness!

The protagonist's son? Bled to death after having his blood drained!

The protagonist's daughter? Mute! Dies from heavy bleeding during childbirth!

The protagonist's son-in-law? Crushed to death by a concrete slab!

The protagonist's grandson? Eats too many beans and dies!

Viewers across the internet can't take it anymore: You leave the sadness to us and keep the fun for yourself? Please! Stop killing everyone off! We'll cry, okay?

But that's not all.

The second episode's writing prompt: wuxia.

Su Yang calmly writes a line: The Legendary Siblings...
