Carousel: the Horror Movie Series

Can you survive watching a horror movie? That's the question Riley and his friends must answer after they're lured to Carousel, an evil town where horror movies come to life. Riley believes he got into big trouble when he was assigned to the Movie Fan Archetype, a small supporting caste who enjoys dying early in movies. At first, he accepted his fate of dying over and over again, but he believed he had found a way to survive. After acquiring the "casual bystander" trope, monsters and killers cannot harm him as long as he convincingly pretends not to notice. At first, this ability seems like a joke, but Riley believes that with some clever use, it might just be his greatest strength. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
