Your Majesty, the Empress Is Breaking the Rules Again

The heroine, Fang Henchi, used to raise hell and do whatever she pleased. She never expected that the Fifth Prince Li Zhiyu, the one she despised most, would ascend the throne and make her a lowly eighth-rank consort. At first, for her family's sake, Fang Henchi decides to swallow her anger. But the more she holds back, the more the emperor torments her. If currying favor doesn't work, then she'll try acting out! So she pretends to hang herself to lure the emperor over. When he arrives, she feels confident enough to go further and pretends she's going to strangle him. Instead of blaming her, the emperor asks whether her hand hurts from pulling the cord...
