Sailing the Seas: Pole-Vaulting into the Sky, I Encounter the Golden Lion

"Heh, kid, you're pretty good. Want to join me in conquering this world?" A burly man with golden-yellow hair stood atop a rock and invited the man before him.

But the man showed no reaction. He simply said, "Conquer the world? Golden Lion, your dream ends here."

Moments later, the Golden Lion had lost all his former swagger. His entire body was ** and not a single part remained intact; one arm and his lower body were long gone.

"Yehahahaha! Cough, cough! I never thought that, apart from those old-timers, someone this strong would appear among the new generation. This era is sure to be exciting. But the ships of the new age can no longer carry me. Kid, before I die, can you tell me your name?"

The man wearing a black cloak with a Z on it smiled and replied, "Hero Z."
