Legends of China's Heroes

In ancient times, five tribal alliances lived on the continent of Shenzhou. Under the rule of Emperor Yan, the common sovereign of Shenzhou, the five great tribes had coexisted peacefully for thousands of years. But the eighth Emperor Yan, Nong Yuwang, was unworthy of his position, indulging in extravagance and expanding his harem without restraint. Long Ying, young lord of the Southern Zhuang, and Xuan Yuan, young lord of the Northern Xia, fell in love at first sight. After the two became engaged, their tribes joined forces as the Northern and Southern Alliance and defied the imperial decree. Emperor Yan Nong Yuwang personally led his army to conquer the Northern Xia tribe, sparking the Battle of Banquan. After the battle, the three tribes were severely weakened and merged into the Huaxia tribe. Emperor Yan Nong Yuwang tested medicines on himself and wrote the Shennong Herbal Classic. After he died from poisoning, his subjects raised Xuan Yuan to the throne as empress, naming her the Yellow Emperor. Just as the Huaxia tribe needed time to recover, the Eastern Yi tribe decided to take advantage of its weakness and joined with the Western Miao tribe to form an East-West Alliance and attack Huaxia, starting the Battle of Zhuolu. Surrounded by enemy forces, Long Ying fought with all his might and killed Li Chiyou, leader of the Eastern Yi. The Huaxia tribe won the Battle of Zhuolu. A hundred years later, the Divine Church appeared out of nowhere. Zhou Si, its third leader, gathered the armies of twelve empires and launched an expedition to Shenzhou, setting off an apocalyptic war!
