Dreaming and Being Frightened

This book can be seen as a companion piece to Inception. In order to save the sleeping female protagonist, the male protagonist needs to risk his life to sneak into her dream and wake her up. The world in the dream is scary and strange, with intrigues, dream vampires and nightmare makers coming one after another. The male protagonist finally succeeded in waking up the female protagonist after going through all kinds of hardships. The two also developed a deep relationship. However, the male protagonist found that things were not as simple as imagined. Is it reality or a dream? Has he really woken up from the dream? He fell into deep confusion. In order to find the real world, he went deep into the dream again and fought against the dream transcendent. Finally, he discovered his true self and his true emotional life.
