The heroine, Lu Shi, inherited a guesthouse called Truelove after her parents passed away. A passionate writer, she wrote web novels online, but with the industry in a slump and competition fierce, she had to live frugally at Truelove. Then the naive Lu Shi was deceived by her childhood best friend, A Long, and his girlfriend. They sold Truelove and took all her money. As it happened, the guesthouse was bought by the big star Xiao Yutong.
By a twist of fate, the two became a bickering couple. Their very different personalities and habits made for a stark contrast, and they argued every single day. Since Xiao Yutong was a celebrity, their lives were plagued by all sorts of difficulties. Perhaps because they had been through so much together, they gradually fell in love without even realizing it.
