Showbiz: For My Graduation Exam, I Showed a Crazy Video

Luo Xiaoya gets into the Beijing Film Academy. On his first day of school, he awakens memories of his past life and activates the Entertainment Mogul System. After four years of quietly signing in, he finally receives the system's highest reward: any money he invests or spends in the entertainment industry earns him a tenfold return.

For his graduation assessment, the "good-for-nothing" Luo Xiaoya turns in a meme video and becomes the center of attention in his department. The video goes viral online, and Luo Xiaoya becomes the godfather of internet memes.

After graduating, Luo Xiaoya decides to leave Beijing's entertainment scene for now and return to his comparatively easygoing hometown in Jiangsu and Zhejiang to develop his career. The first artist he discovers turns out to be his hapless childhood friend, Bai Mengyan!

Just as everyone assumes Luo Xiaoya can only make meme videos, his follow-up project, The Knockout, quickly goes viral online...

And so begins Luo Xiaoya's path to becoming a great director!

Years after Bai Mengyan becomes famous, she asks Luo Xiaoya:

"Why did you choose to become a director back then?"

"You silly girl! You can't imagine how fun it is to be a director!"
