The Ming Dynasty in a Box: Zhu Yuanzhang, the Gods Will Help You Take Flight

Ye Chen received a strange miniature diorama.

Inside the box stood a magnificent imperial city of the Great Ming, and atop its walls was a plastic Zhu Yuanzhang.

Zhu Yuanzhang prayed to the heavens: "O Heavenly God, please send us some rain! The great capital has gone without rain for far too long!"

Ye Chen dipped a finger in water. Splash! A gentle spring rain fell within the imperial city.

Zhu Yuanzhang prayed to the heavens again: "Please send us some food, Heavenly God. The people on the frontier are starving!"

Ye Chen tossed in some leftover bread crumbs.

Zhu Yuanzhang jumped for joy: "These buns are enormous! There's enough for everyone in the capital to eat for a whole month!"

Zhu Yuanzhang continued to plead with the heavens. "Heavenly God, I also need..."

Ye Chen roared, "Chongba, you ask for too much!"

Zhu Yuanzhang's heart sank. "Heavenly God, how do you know my childhood name? Oh my goodness! The Heavenly God has answered our prayers!"

Tens of thousands of commoners prostrated themselves before the gigantic hand descending from the sky.

A three-year-old toddler inside the imperial city shouted up at the sky, "Hey! Does the Heavenly God pick his nose just like me?"

Ye Chen's heart sank. They saw me picking my nose? How embarrassing! I'm out of here!

"There's a severe drought in Hebei. I implore the Heavenly God to sneeze."
