Survival Guide to the Apocalyptic Disaster

"If today were the end of the world, what would you want to do?"

In the company break room, two men sat on a sofa, smoking and chatting.

The one wearing a plaid shirt, Chen Long, had asked the question.

"The end of the world? I'd write a book, documenting the extinction of the human race."

Wang Zhi, sitting on the other side, slowly exhaled a puff of smoke. He picked up a company brochure from the break room table and smiled as he flipped through a couple of pages.

"Well, well... I didn't know you had an artsy side."

Chen Long first froze in surprise, then, cigarette dangling from his lips, picked up a company brochure from the table and began leafing through it with a frown.

"Some things have to be done by someone, right? Why shouldn't it be me?"

Wang Zhi took the cigarette from his mouth, tapped off the ash, and casually tossed the brochure onto the table.

"Fair enough. So what would you charge?"

Chen Long leaned back with the cigarette in his mouth, teasing him.

The two of them chatted on and off.

Who could have guessed that the apocalypse would really arrive the next day?
