Great Ming: A Million Elite Soldiers Surround the City, and You Call Them Bandits?

Jiang Lin closes his eyes, then opens them to find that he has landed in the Ming Dynasty.

Penniless and with nowhere to turn, he is worrying about how to survive to the final round when he happens upon bandits pillaging a small village.

Looking at the bandits rampaging unchecked, with no one able to stop them,

Jiang Lin slaps his thigh. Now that's a great line of work!

The System awakens, troops pour out, and he begins sweeping everything before him!

Bandits from all over: "Is he one of us? Why is his equipment better than the regular army's?"

County magistrates from a hundred counties: "The good news is that he's wiped out all the bandits. The bad news is that he's the biggest one of them all!"

Wealthy merchants and nobles: "Fort Chief Jiang says the money is just a loan. When will he pay it back...? No idea."

Gradually, Jiang Lin's reputation grows ever greater.

At court,

Zhu Yuanzhang slaps the imperial throne: "I've never seen anyone so brazen!"

The ministers are furious, and the generals are ready to attack!

Three days later,

"Your Majesty, this is bad! The imperial city has been... surrounded!"
