Tears of Heaven

On the edge of the town, an ancient flood dam stands. Legend has it that as long as the floods rise, strange things will happen. However, people didn't take it seriously until that day when heavy rains came and floods swept across. As night fell, the rain became more intense and the water level rose sharply. Suddenly, a huge wave swept across the entire flood dam, like a monster dancing wildly. Immediately afterwards, a mysterious force emerged from the water and gradually condensed into a vague figure. Soon, the entire town was submerged in water, and pairs of eyes stared at the figure behind the window lattice of every house. By the time they realized the danger was approaching, it was already too late. Ancient legends are awakened and forgotten horror stories resurface in the deluge. Whenever night falls, a low chant will echo from the edge of the town, as if some terrifying existence is celebrating its victory. The residents of the town huddled under the broken eaves, staring at the dark flood, fear spreading in their hearts. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
