Crown Prince Zhu Biao: From the Start, I Teach Zhu Yunwen the Art of Slaying Dragons

In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, Zhu Xiongying, the Ming dynasty's imperial grandson, dies just short of his ninth birthday.

Crown Prince Zhu Biao is devastated and spends every day in a state of gloom.

As the crown prince and next in line to the throne, how could he be so pessimistic and dispirited?

Zhu Yuanzhang flies into a rage and is about to beat some sense into him, but Empress Ma stops him and suggests sending Mao Xiang to investigate instead.

But who could have guessed that they would find Zhu Biao holding Zhu Yunwen by the arm and asking him:

"My son, tell me, what should we do if the Ming dynasty has only three hundred years left?"

As Zhu Yunwen looks on in terror, Zhu Biao begins dragging him along every day, teaching him a strange form of martial arts and giving him lessons.

"If we want to change everything, we need a healthy body first. Let's try to stretch ten years into twenty, then thirty."

"My son, if you don't want your fourth uncle to take the throne, you'd better work hard."

"Studying the classics won't save the Ming. Only modernization can save it."

Zhu Yuanzhang and the princes eavesdrop on Zhu Biao's lessons, completely dumbfounded.

Then, one day, Zhu Yuanzhang arrives with an imposing air.

"My son, I've already conquered the West. I brought you medicine!"
