Great Ming: I Just Transmigrated, and Zhu Yuanzhang Is Already Dead

After transmigrating to the Ming Dynasty, he becomes Zhu Yunton, the least noteworthy of Zhu Biao's three sons.

Worse still, Zhu Yuanzhang is dead, Zhu Yunwen will soon ascend the throne, and the Jingnan Campaign is just around the corner.

If things follow their usual course, he'll never get a chance to make a name for himself.

He has to avoid being imprisoned to death by Zhu Di.

Zhu Yunton can only secretly build up his strength and develop his power, waiting for Zhu Yunwen and Zhu Di to cripple each other before striking them from behind and taking the throne for himself.

..

What the history books don't record is that Zhu Yuanzhang did not die in the thirty-first year of Hongwu. His death was all part of a scheme.

He intended to fake his death to draw out all the threats to the court at once, and to give Zhu Yunwen one final test.

But...

As he read one report after another, Zhu Yuanzhang was stunned.

"The Third Imperial Grandson secretly controls the Ming salt trade and is richer than the entire nation."

"The Third Imperial Grandson is secretly building advanced firearms that can take on ten enemies at once."

"The Jianwen Emperor is surrounded by the Third Imperial Grandson's people. Just after Prince of Yan Zhu Di succeeds in the Jingnan Campaign, the Third Imperial Grandson has him thrown in prison."

Zhu Yuanzhang suddenly understood: Zhu Yunton was the best successor all along.
