The Black Mamba was still a high school student, Jordan was creating his own godhood, Ben Wallace was still a little-known undrafted player that year, Iverson was high-spirited that year, and Marbury was still the invincible rookie that year. And how does our protagonist, Allen Johnson, a Chinese-American mixed race, create his own myth in such an NBA arena where gods are fighting? This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
