You Asked Me to Protect a State-Owned Enterprise, Yet I Became a Warlord

The situation on the African continent is unstable.

Retired officer Li Kunpeng is ordered to go to Africa and set up a security company to protect Chinese businesses.

"What? The situation in this country is unstable, and we need to evacuate our citizens?"

Evacuate them? Why bother? Just send out an armored unit and put down the unrest. Then support whoever falls in line.

"What? Pirates are threatening Chinese cargo ships along the shipping route?"

An aircraft carrier group under Li Kunpeng's command appears in pirate-infested waters to protect the shipping lanes.

"What? Oil has been discovered in this country?"

The first to arrive isn't the US military. It's Li Kunpeng and his security company.

"I've claimed this land. The oil underground, the minerals in the mountains, and the F-22s in the sky are all mine. Even God can't stop me. That's final!"

Li Kunpeng says slowly, a cigarette dangling from his lips.

America: Who sold him our aircraft carriers, our main battle tanks, and even our nukes?!

France: Our era is over. Li Kunpeng has become the new emperor behind the throne.

Back home: Didn't that kid say his security company was only a tiny bit capable?
