He transmigrates to the 1960s.

After a year working at a scrap recycling station, he finally learns that he has transmigrated into the world of Love in the Courtyard.

He would rather ignore them, but Yi Zhonghai says he's young and reckless for daring to modify a machine tool, turning the entire courtyard against him.

Su Cheng gives the whole lot of them a piece of his mind, making them all afraid to mess with him. Yi Zhonghai sees him as a thorn in his side.

But thanks to his vast knowledge, far beyond the standards of the era, Su Cheng successfully turns the steel mill into one of the foremost enterprises in the country and the world.

Su Cheng marries Lou Xiao'e and becomes Factory Director Lou's son-in-law, chief engineer, and factory director. His life gets better and better.

Now the riffraff in the courtyard can't sit still.

Yi Zhonghai regrets it so much he could tear his hair out!
