You Told Me to Bluff the Eagle, So Why Are You Making It Real?

That year, America had its hands in its pockets and no idea what a worthy opponent was. Its arms business spanned the globe.

That year, the Dragon Kingdom was under a technological blockade, and its science and technology had hit a bottleneck.

That year, advanced alien civilizations looked down on Blue Star and didn’t take it seriously at all.

Then one day, Shen Fei, a new recruit at the Strategic Deception Bureau, appeared with his hodgepodge of black technologies.

Space-based weapons, atomic weapons, particle-beam energy weapons, miniature cold-fusion combat exosuits, the impenetrable Droplet, the rule-level weapon known as the Two-Dimensional Foil, atomic suppressors...

Looking at the kinetic weapons that had already been made obsolete, China cheerfully asked America:

“Hey, want to buy some? Dirt cheap!”

“???”

Staring at weapons like the Two-Dimensional Foil, America was dumbfounded.

“Wait, buddy, are you serious? Are you out of your mind?”

That day, America finally took its hands out of its pockets and realized that its blockade had created a mighty dragon in the East!

That day, the aliens observing Earth fell silent.
