Great Ming: The People Worship Me from the Start, So Old Zhu Can't Kill Me

A devastating famine strikes during the Hongwu era.

Just as the court is at its wits' end, a volunteer relief convoy carrying grain catches its attention.

Its leader, Su He, has come to provide famine relief.

After Zhu Yuanzhang orders an investigation, he hears that wherever the Little Immortal goes, every household worships a clay statue of him and even calls him the God of Wealth and Letters!

People all over the country are talking: "Calling him the Little Immortal doesn't do him justice. He's the God of Wealth and Letters."

"The Little Immortal has saved millions of lives. The court? It can't do anything like that."

"Whether it's his ability to triple crop yields or his nine strategies for disaster relief, no ordinary person could have come up with them."

The ministers are in an uproar, and Zhu Yuanzhang is furious!

Zhu Yuanzhang: "I started out with the Red Turban Army and even used the name of the Ming Cult. This Little Immortal who just appeared out of nowhere, is he planning to rebel against me?"

The ministers all call for the man's execution.

Liu Bowen looks terrified. "Your Majesty, you must not lay a hand on him. This man is blessed with great destiny."

"If you kill him, the nation may face disaster."
