I Followed the Trend and Made a Movie, So How Did I Become a Master Filmmaker?

After awakening the memories of his past life,

Gu Qiu saw how absurdly cutthroat the film industry had become. With little money in his pocket, he chose to make copycat films and knockoffs.

You're making Jaws?

Then I'll make Two-Headed Shark! Not enough? Bring on Three-Headed Shark, Five-Headed Shark, and Six-Headed Shark!

You're making Scream?

Then I'll make Scary Movie! Still not enough? What if I throw in Sadako vs. Kayako?

You're making Garfield? James Bond?

Teddy Bear and Kingsman, you're next!

Years later,

when countless moviegoers hailed Gu Qiu as a master filmmaker,

other directors said, "He's just a copycat filmmaker. What makes him so special?!"
