We Agreed to Make a Terrible Movie, So What Is Mr. Vampire Doing Here?

I, Chu Nan, had just transmigrated when I was hired as a director.

Fortunately, the Movie Vault System awakened. The more profit my films made, the more new movies I could unlock.

So my principle as a director is: make the highest-grossing films with the lowest possible budget!

I, Ye Sijia, founded a film company from the start.

Fortunately, the Loss-Rebate System awakened. As long as I lose money, I get ten times that amount back.

So my goal as a beautiful young CEO is: spare no expense and lose my way to becoming the richest person alive!

When a hands-off CEO meets a sly director, the entire Hong Kong film industry starts getting more and more absurd.

“You said horror films had no market. Then what is this Mr. Vampire of yours?”

“You said making a film with Jackie Chan was expensive. Then how did your Police Story become the highest-grossing Chinese-language film of the year?”

“You said Chow Yun-fat was ‘box office poison.’ So how did your A Better Tomorrow break the record again?”
