The 1960s: I Enlisted in the Army with Steel Seventh Company

In 1959, Li Xiangyang, a 19-year-old farm boy, enlisted in the army.

Unexpectedly, after finishing recruit training, he was assigned to the desolate *yuan Fifth Squad.

Even more surprising, this *yuan Fifth Squad belonged to the battle-hardened Steel Seventh Company, which was then suffering from a severe shortage of experienced soldiers and was nearly stripped of its designation.

Fortunately, a System arrived from heaven.

Li Xiangyang steadied himself and began building up his skills in the *yuan Fifth Squad, while turning it into the most dazzling sight in the army.

Together with his comrades, he also completed the reconstruction of Steel Seventh Company.
