Great Ming: Zhu Di's Illegitimate Son Plots to Seize the Throne!

Zhu Di.

He awoke from a dream in the middle of the night.

He learned he had an illegitimate son, and that his own father had appeared in his dream to tell him so.

Although his father was dressed strangely and spoke of driving out the northern barbarians...

The profound sense of truth deep in his soul left Zhu Di no choice but to heed his father's words and start searching!

His illegitimate son, Zhu Yi.

Zhu Yi received a System and was entrusted by the man who started with nothing but a bowl and won the realm through battle.

Ten years later.

When Zhu Yi arrived above Europe aboard an airship,

people of later generations would call it the dynasty's western expedition, the dawn of a new world from the East.

An age of steampunk led by the Great Ming.

A Great Ming where steam civilization blended with electrical technology.

Looking upon the realm he had conquered with his own hands and the civilization he had forged, Zhu Yi raised his cup and chanted:

The sword dances, bringing the four corners to heel; I quell the rebels and ascend the throne. Guns sweep away the Japanese pirates; I ride forth to open the way to heaven.

My armies besiege Baghdad; the Volga rebels surrender. I will not rest until their generals are slain, and my name will endure through the ages!

Those who refuse to submit are bandits; all who serve are my people. Even a rain of blood must end, and learning shall flourish as the people grow wise.

Enlightened autocracy begins; the monarch and cabinet are established. Now the realm is united, and may the pioneers be remembered for ten thousand years!
