Divine Signs I: The Hunter's Trail, Part Three: The Azure Abyss of the Northern Sea

The Can Sect, the Murong Clan, the Zhuge Clan, and the Kun Sect are four unusual factions with a long history. Legend says they were the four guardians of the Yellow Emperor, Xuanyuan. After defeating Chiyou, the Kun Sect was tasked with guarding Chiyou's tomb, while the other three factions went to hunt down the remnants of Chiyou's forces. A thousand years later, a successor of one of the four factions learns that Xuanyuan defeated Chiyou thanks to the core of an ancient divine beast, the giant Kun of the North Sea, named Cangming. This divine core still lies in Chiyou's tomb. Determined to grow stronger, he decides to enter the tomb. What he doesn't expect is that, besides the Kun Sect, the tomb is guarded by nine divine beasts: the Hound of Heavenly Doom, the One-Horned Qilin, the Tiger-Backed Divine Deer, the Spirit Monkey with Ghost Eyes, the Golden-Winged Roc, the Evil Dragon Serpent, the Nine-Tailed Spirit Cat, the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, and the spirit of the giant Kun of the North Sea. Meanwhile, to stop him from stealing Cangming, the successors of the other three factions join forces. But when they arrive, they find that Chiyou has already been resurrected... And lurking behind it all is an even greater conspiracy...
