In three years, Prince Jinkang Zhu Xu dismantles the alliance between officials and merchants, increasing the national granary's grain stores by eleven million shi and the silver treasury by fifteen million taels...

In five years, Prince Jinkang Zhu Xu controls half the empire's merchant wealth, bringing in thirty million taels of silver in annual tax revenue and supporting three million soldiers for the mighty Ming army...

What Old Zhu never expected was that

Zhu Xu's talents weren't limited to business. Crown Prince Zhu Biao admires him so much that he is willing to give up the Ming throne for him.
