Great Ming: I Level Up by Slaying Enemies, and Chongzhen Wants to Abdicate in My Favor

In the fourteenth year of the Chongzhen reign, the Ming and Later Jin forces fought their final decisive battle at Songjin.

Zhu Xuan transmigrated into the past and became an ordinary foot soldier among an army of 400,000.

Fortunately, he awakened the War God System. The more enemies he killed, the stronger he became.

And so Zhu Xuan became a god of slaughter, mercilessly cutting down the Later Jin troops.

From an ordinary soldier, he rose through the ranks: squad commander, battalion commander, brigade commander, and general...

In the end, he turned the tide of the decisive battle, crushing the Later Jin forces and restoring the glory of the Ming.

At the ceremony in the capital celebrating the captured enemy soldiers, the Chongzhen Emperor was stunned when he saw Zhu Xuan.

Though the suspicious and demanding emperor had always kept a tight rein on his subordinates, he granted Zhu Xuan extraordinary authority, allowing him to execute corrupt officials, pacify the rebels, reclaim Liaodong, reform the court, and lead campaigns west and north.

Once the land was pacified, Zhu Xuan worried that the Chongzhen Emperor would kill him after he had served his purpose.

To his surprise, Chongzhen offered to abdicate: "Xuan'er, I have not been a worthy emperor. The throne should be yours."
