Great Ming: Old Zhu Wants to Make Me Emperor, but I Really Don't Want the Throne

Bai Hao transmigrates to the end of the Yuan Dynasty, becoming a white snake about to descend from the mountain and demand a title. By chance, he meets Zhu Yuanzhang before he becomes emperor!

Bai Hao: "Commander Zhu, do I look more like a human or an immortal?"

Zhu Yuanzhang, who aspires to become emperor, replies: "Today, I shall confer a divine title upon you on behalf of Heaven. You shall be the General Divine Dragon Who Guards the Nation, protecting the dragon veins of the Nine Provinces, defending our land of Hua Xia, safeguarding the people of Han, and protecting the descendants of the Zhu family!"

"After I become emperor, I'll grant you an additional title and honor!"

As soon as he finishes speaking, the blue sky overhead is covered by dark clouds, and a lightning tribulation descends.

Bai Hao rushes into the tribulation and disappears. Zhu Yuanzhang assumes Bai Hao failed to survive it and leaves with regret.

Many years later, Bai Hao succeeds in transforming into a dragon. Using the art of borrowing a corpse to take human form, he appears before Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty.

Zhu Yuanzhang weeps with joy: "My dear grandson, you're alive again?"

Looking at the edict naming him heir, Bai Hao is at a loss for words: "Commander Zhu, I'm that white snake. I only came to repay your kindness. Making me emperor will ruin my chances of becoming a god!"...
