Filming an American TV Series in China, Breaking the All-Time Ratings Record

Ye Lei transmigrates to a parallel world where melodramatic TV shows are everywhere.

As a TV director, he's just received an ultimatum from his company: make something good, or get out!

Ye Lei can't be bothered arguing with them. He sells his house and heads abroad.

He makes the classic American TV series Prison Break, which premieres back home and breaks the ratings record!

So TV dramas don't have to be melodramatic after all!

Game of Thrones, Friends, The Big Bang Theory...

As one classic after another hits the screen, he's hailed as the godfather of television.

And beautiful women fall for him one after another.

His old classmate Hathaway: "Ye Lei, you've made me famous. Aren't you going to marry me?"

Popular star Stewart: "Thank you, Ye Lei, for giving me a role in Game of Thrones!"

The sultry, alluring Angelina Jolie: "Won't you at least consider me?"

Fans around the world: "Director Ye! Please stop chasing women and get on with it! You can't keep delaying season two..."
