NBA: Starting by Beating the Lakers' Assistant Coach

After transmigrating to a parallel-world America and building his fortune from nothing, Meng De finally activates the Gambler Coach System after fifteen years of ups and downs.

Whenever he makes a bet with someone and wins, he earns Gamble Points that he can use to draw rewards from the System.

It all begins when he wins a bet against Phil Jackson and becomes an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. Thus begins Meng De's life of high-stakes gambling.

He makes a massive bet with the Zen Master over the Lakers' head coaching position, gets his revenge in a grand finale, and launches a legend.

After becoming an NBA head coach, Meng De brings his gift for gambling onto the court.

His high-stakes bets grow ever more outrageous, both on and off the court.

He bets Kobe on the honor of a young woman.

He bets the Buss Family for ownership of the Los Angeles Lakers!

Until one day, he sits across from league commissioner David Stern and says, "Mr. Commissioner, how about we make a bet?"
