Honghuang: I Became the Spirit of an Island and Guard the Jiejiao's Gate

Zhou Yuan transmigrates to the Primordial World and becomes the spirit of Golden Ao Island. By chance, he encounters Sect Master Tongtian leading his followers there after the Three Pure Ones split up, and chooses Golden Ao Island as the headquarters of the Jie Sect.

Fortunately, he activates the Gatekeeper Fortune System!

He gains the Fortune-Seeing Divine Eye, which lets him see the fortune rank of every living being!

As long as he successfully stops beings harmful to the Jie Sect, or beings who would benefit it, from joining the sect or entering Golden Ao Island, he can earn lavish rewards!

And so the Jie Sect gains the strictest gatekeeper in its history.

"Dingguang Xian, you have no ties to the Jie Sect. Leave at once!"

"Daoist Duobao, once you walk out this door, you may never make it back."

"Di Jun, Taiyi, you two are caught up in a calamity. You are not to set foot on Golden Ao Island!"

"The Twelve Golden Immortals? The deputy leader of the Chan Sect? What a bunch of nobodies! Even a Sage has to wait at the gate for permission!"

"..."

Many years later, the Investiture of the Gods calamity begins as scheduled.

The Sages look at the Jie Sect, with fewer than a hundred disciples, then at the Western Teachings, packed to the brim.

At last, a world where only the Two Sages of the West get hurt has come to pass!
