You Asked Me to Screen a Movie, Not Clean Up the Entertainment Industry

Xu Zhi transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a projectionist on a movie channel, commonly known as the guy who plays the films.

After awakening a System, he turns a channel that has languished at the bottom of the ratings for years into what netizens call Channel Six Princess.

Instead of just screening movies, he transforms into a master of sarcastic commentary.

What, the United States is withdrawing its troops? We're not showing Coming Home today. Change the film to A Dog's Way Home. Hope everyone enjoys it.

The United States is visiting Japan? Put on the classic Pearl Harbor.

In an age of cultural invasion, he takes on the whole burden by himself.

Until one day, a Xu Daddy appears in the entertainment industry, a Xu Master in the classical arts, and an Invincible Xu in the film industry.

Years later, people finally think to look into his past. Then everyone is astonished.

"Director Wang, what exactly did King Xu do at your station back then?"

"Just like he said, he really did play the films. No, no, he was a projectionist."

The phone rings.

"Xu Zhi, I asked you to screen movies so you could find a daughter-in-law, not so you could clean up the entertainment industry!"
