Showbiz: A Predatory Contract? Please, Let Me Sign It

Lin Mo transmigrates to a parallel world.

He discovers that his predecessor is taking part in a variety show called Ace Agent.

Lin Mo plans to get eliminated as soon as possible, then use his memories from his previous life to enter a talent show and reach the pinnacle of success.

But he unexpectedly discovers a little-known singer named Sun Yanzi!

"Rather than perform in the spotlight, I'd rather stay behind the scenes and count the money!"

So Lin Mo decides that becoming a ruthless agent might not be such a bad idea!

"Will you sign a deal where the artist gets 10 percent of the earnings and I get 90?"

"Will you sign an agency contract that lasts at least eight years?"

"You only get the rights to use your work while the contract is in effect?"

One exploitative clause after another, and the whole internet blasts Lin Mo as a heartless agent!

But ten years later...

"I made money, but somehow it doesn't feel like I made all that much!"

Lin Mo rubs his lower back and downs the goji berry, cistanche, and eucommia tea from his thermos.
