Great Ming: I Beg for Death with a Remonstrance, and the Old Zhu Makes Me His Imperial Tutor

Su Yun transmigrates into the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty as a censor.

If he gets killed, he can transmigrate back to the modern world and inherit assets worth tens of billions.

So Su Yun starts doing everything he can to get himself killed:

When Old Zhu wants to enfeoff the vassal princes, he opposes it;

when Old Zhu wants to ban maritime trade, he disagrees;

when Old Zhu wants to launch a northern expedition, he impeaches him;

when Old Zhu wants to take concubines, he denounces him;

when Old Zhu wants to appoint Zhu Yunwen as the Crown Prince's eldest grandson, he scoffs at him;

Whatever Old Zhu does, Su Yun takes the opposite side.

He assumes that with Old Zhu's ruthless temperament and explosive temper, he'll have him executed on the spot.

But Su Yun doesn't know that Old Zhu has gained the power of divination, which lets him predict all things.

After using it, Old Zhu discovers that enfeoffing the vassal princes would shorten the Ming Dynasty's reign;

repeated northern expeditions would drain the country and burden the people;

taking concubines would damage his health and shorten his life;

and appointing Zhu Yunwen as the Crown Prince's eldest grandson would be humiliating;

So instead of killing Su Yun, Old Zhu wants to make him the Imperial Tutor.

Su Yun: "...Damn you, Old Zhu! Just execute me already!"

Old Zhu: "Heh heh, Minister Su, serve the Ming Dynasty for another three hundred years!"
