Taming Showbiz: Slacking Off at the Songwriting Competition

Lu Chen died suddenly from working overtime in his previous life, then transmigrated to a parallel world.

He discovers that his predecessor is a composer about to be dropped by his company, and is preparing to appear on the last variety show of his career.

In this unfamiliar world, all he wants is to live as he pleases,

and, along the way, bring a different kind of color to this "rat-race" entertainment industry.

And so...

At a songwriting contest, while everyone else racks their brains over the arrangements, he takes a nap...

At a music awards ceremony, among a crowd dressed in suits and ties, a figure in casual clothes munches on sunflower seeds...

At a concert, he simply turns the microphone around, making himself the only audience member watching himself onstage...
