NBA: From the Start, Maxed-Out Attributes

In 2012, the Heat had just won that year's championship, and LeBron James had been named Finals MVP. Before the season began, the Lakers would assemble an F4 of Kobe, Nash, Howard, and Gasol. Back then, Melo was still in his prime with the New York Knicks, alongside Kidd and Tyson Chandler. The Spurs' GDP were in their twilight years, like the setting sun glowing in the evening sky, old but still strong, and not yet past their prime. The Thunder's two young stars were in their heyday, brimming with ambition. Led by Curry, the Golden State Warriors were gradually rising. The tough, gritty Celtics rang through the league, and Chicago's Rose had won the youngest MVP in NBA history just the year before. The Clippers were Lob City…

Thinking back to that era of fierce competition, thinking of Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Paul, Curry, Kevin Durant, Westbrook… Those players were all still in their prime, and the fighting spirit in my heart still hasn't quieted down.
