Battleships Leading the Way, and You Tell Me This Is the Great Ming?

In the 26th year of Xianning, Ning Jue, an envoy from the Ming Court's Court of State Ceremonial, is sent to serve as a guest official at the Fusang Embassy. While aboard a passenger ship, he rescues a young woman.

As they talk, Ning Jue is shocked to learn that, in the world she comes from, Zheng He never discovered the New World. The Ming Dynasty was instead overthrown by the northern Jianzhou Jurchens, and the country later suffered a century of humiliation.

My name is Su Xiaosu. I was a freshman who had just entered university in 2010, but after an accident, I came to this strange world.

Here, the Ming Dynasty never fell. It has survived to the present day, which is 1783 in this world. Though it has entered the industrial age, the Ming Dynasty here is completely different from the industrial era I know.

There are no nations here, because the whole world is one family. The peoples of the four directions regard the people of the Ming as the main branch, and themselves as the minor branches.

The Ming call the Americas "Tandi." In Xinxiang Prefecture, Tandi, stands a bronze statue of Zheng He nearly fourteen zhang tall.

Battleships displacing tens of thousands of tons cruise Osaka Bay, but the Tokugawa shogunate seems rather unfriendly...?
