Taking Concubines in the Great Song: I Steal Pan Jinlian from the Start

Xie Qing gets his hands on a piece of jade.

While fooling around with it, he transmigrates to Yanggu County in the Great Song.

He accidentally falls into someone's bathroom, catches Lady Wang bathing, and gets beaten and thrown out.

With a bruised and swollen face and his clothes in tatters, people mistake him for a beggar.

By chance, Zhang Yuanwai's wife passes by with Pan Jinlian.

Kicking her out would be too good for her. The main thing is to make her miserable and have her suffer for the rest of her life.

He plans to sell Pan Jinlian as a wife to Wu Dalang, the poorest and ugliest man in the surrounding villages.

However, just as they enter Yanggu County through the city gate, Zhang Yuanwai's wife spots Xie Qing, looking wretched by the roadside.

And so, by a stroke of luck, Xie Qing snatches Pan Jinlian away.

Once he gets used to his new surroundings, Xie Qing discovers that the Great Song is actually quite prosperous.

He then sets out on a carefree life of making money, marrying, taking concubines, and growing stronger.

Li Ping'er: "If you don't mind having me, young master, I'd gladly serve you as a slave for the rest of my life."

Hu Sanniang: "I can never repay you for saving my life. I can only offer myself to you."
