Studying Under Fahai: Mingru Seeks the Dao

Ming Ru is a modern person who, after an accident, transmigrates to the ancient world of 700 years ago and becomes a disciple of Fahai, a young monk at Jinshan Temple. After living at the temple for 17 years, Ming Ru gains a wealth of cultivation achievements by completing various tasks. Even so, his deepest hope is to return to the modern world.

But under Fahai's arrangements, Ming Ru remains at Jinshan Temple to continue his cultivation. Through his quiet perseverance, he gradually comes to understand that changes in time and space are not what matters. What matters is the path in one's heart. The purpose of cultivation is to attain the ultimate state of nirvana, escape the cycle of life and death, and achieve true freedom.

Amid the simple, repetitive days at Jinshan Temple, Ming Ru undergoes inner growth and awakening. He begins to understand Fahai's struggles, as well as the emptiness of chasing fleeting fame and status in the human world. The truth of life lies in transcending time and space and reaching the source of life. It is this enlightenment that Jinshan Temple, day after day and year after year, guides Ming Ru toward.
