Siheyuan: I'm Sun Shaoan, the Northwest's Hammer King

By chance, Director Yang visits the Shigejie commune on the Loess Plateau for a work trip, where he meets Sun Shaoan. He introduces him to a job at the Red Star Steel Mill and arranges for him to live in the Red Star Courtyard.

Qin Huairu: "You're quite capable. I like you."

Sun Shaoan: "I've got someone in my heart. Even if you like me, I'll still give you a thrashing."

Jia Zhangshi: "You look like you can take hardship. Be my godson! Qin Huairu can be your wife, and you even get three children for free."

Sun Shaoan: "Do I look like an idiot? Keep talking nonsense, old woman, and I'll beat you to a pulp."

Yi Zhonghai: "I have five children. If you agree, I'll take you as my godson. You'll inherit all my property."

Sun Shaoan: "How can you just go around claiming sons? Watch out, or I'll beat you until you don't know which way is southeast."

This story isn't too heavy on hostility, and focuses on humor and wit.

The protagonist isn't a modern person who transmigrates into the past. Instead, Sun Shaoan, the protagonist from Ordinary World, is merged into the world of the Red Star Courtyard.
