Great Ming: I'm a Rebel to the Core, and You Want Me to Be Crown Prince?

In the 11th year of Hongwu, Zhu Gang transmigrates to the Ming dynasty and takes up his post as a prince. He gradually becomes the foremost of the Nine Frontier Princes, takes control of the reins of power, and lays ample groundwork for the future Jingnan Campaign.

Three years later, an increasingly aged Zhu Yuanzhang suddenly seizes control of the timeline, gaining the ability to travel in his dreams to any point in the Ming dynasty.

When he sees that Zhu Biao will soon pass away, that Zhu Yunwen will turn against his own family, and that his merciless removal of the vassal princes will bring upheaval to the dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang is devastated.

The fourth prince, Zhu Di, bides his time, raises an army in Beiping, and launches the Jingnan Campaign in the name of restoring the throne!

The third prince, Zhu Gang, goes straight into rebellion. With flintlock rifles, mighty general cannons, iron armor, and Liaodong cavalry, he crushes both Zhu Yunwen and Zhu Di! He then leads the Ming to unparalleled glory and becomes an emperor for the ages!

Zhu Yuanzhang is completely stunned!

At that moment, the Censor-in-Chief is accusing Zhu Gang of producing steel, building up troops, and plotting treason.

Old Zhu: "Rebellion? I say Prince of Jin is devoted to his duties and has my full approval!"

As Zhu Yuanzhang learns more, his outlook changes just a tiny bit.

Years later, after Zhu Biao dies, Zhu Yuanzhang issues an imperial decree naming Zhu Gang crown prince.

Zhu Yunwen: "?"

Zhu Gang is even more dumbfounded: "I'm rebellious to the core, and you want me to be crown prince?"
