Livestream: The Straight-Talking Director, Tell the Principal Exactly What You Think

To help parents understand today's schools and teachers,

China's education authorities and other departments decided to launch a livestream program called New Era Campus.

At the interview,

several teachers gave lofty but dishonest answers.

Program director Zhang Yimou was deeply frustrated, and the audience was furious.

Then Shen Jin showed up.

Zhang Yimou: “You spent three years teaching in a remote mountain village and only came back yesterday. Was it for the children?”

Shen Jin: “My superiors assigned me there...”

Everyone: “...”

Zhang Yimou: “Why did you become a teacher?”

Shen Jin: “The pay and benefits are good, there's no overtime, and I get summer and winter vacations. I didn't want to be a corporate wage slave.”

Everyone: “...”

Seeing how blunt Shen Jin was, Zhang Yimou immediately decided to put him in charge of the livestream.

But he had no idea that what he'd seen was only the tip of the iceberg when it came to Shen Jin's bluntness.

After being appointed dean of studies at No. 3 Middle School, Shen Jin bluntly “****” the entire education system of China.

School principal: “I was just being polite! You cut the students' homework in half???”
