They Demolished a Taoist Temple to Build a Monastery, and Dug Up Me, the Celestial Master

During the Republican era, the supernatural ran rampant, with demons and monsters laying waste to the world.

To save humanity, the Celestial Masters' Mansion led a band of Taoist disciples down the mountain with swords on their backs. In the end, they paid a terrible price, nearly wiping out their entire sect, but succeeded in sealing away the supernatural forces.

A century later,

Buddhism flourished while Taoism declined. To build a new temple,

a bunch of bald monks set their sights on a Taoist holy site. On the day construction was to begin, they even summoned countless media reporters to cover it, hoping to raise their profile and rake in more offerings.

But just as the excavator cracked open the ground, it unearthed an ancient bronze coffin. Inside lay a Taoist priest dressed in purple robes.

"A century has passed, and the world is at peace, just as we wished."

"It would be one thing if the ignorant masses didn't know the truth."

"But you bunch of cowardly, greedy bald monks, who care only about lining your pockets, actually think you can tear down a Taoist temple to build a Buddhist one?"

Su Yang glared furiously, rose straight out of the ancient coffin, and berated the Buddhist sect.

Today, he would slaughter them all!
