Hong Kong Films: A Tycoon Rises, Starting with Dragon in the Jianghu

He transmigrated to a parallel world where Hong Kong movies had merged.

It was a chaotic, dark golden age, but also one brimming with opportunity.

He had taken the place of Wai Ji-cheung, a character with the same name in To Be Number One, and become the most timid enforcer in a triad?

In this world, only the most ruthless could survive.

Wai Ji-cheung was determined to make everyone who had bullied him pay.

"I only wanted to sell pirated discs."

"But a handful of people kept forcing me higher and higher, until in the end, I had no choice but to step on everyone!"

He conquered Hung Hing, crushed the East Star Society, and then absorbed Wo Shing Wo.

On Hong Kong Island, Wai Ji-cheung was the uncrowned king, the true emperor behind the scenes.

From Brother Cheung to Uncle Cheung, he ultimately became the world's richest man, controlling the lifeblood of the global economy.

Starting out with pirated discs and counterfeit goods, he expanded into security, real estate, logistics, electricity, and telecommunications, until his business spanned the globe and he became a world-class magnate.
