Tales of the Phantom Moon Swordsman

Legend has it that there is an ancient prophecy: When every star in the universe fills the sky, and the moon shines with the clear, icy-white light of day, the hidden Moon Goddess will descend upon the mortal world once more. The Lotus Lantern will reappear, and the mighty will rise throughout the Three Realms and Six Paths. All living beings suspect that the world is about to face a third great cataclysm.

In the first year of the Dongyuan era, the first great cataclysm took place in Hongmeng. The universe was formed, and the Three Sovereigns of the Dawn of Time were born. In the year 4000 of the Dongyuan era, the second great cataclysm erupted, causing the ancient god clans to lose their power and retreat into hiding beyond the Ninth Heaven for many years. Now it is the year 7998 of the Dongyuan era, with only two years left until 8000. Could it be true that a great cataclysm occurs every four thousand years?
